PSHE

PSHE
Personal, social, health and economic education is an important subject for Sixth Form students; PSHE covers economic wellbeing and careers at a vital time to support students’ next steps. Age-appropriate PSHE also covers relationships, wellbeing and personal safety. The DfE calls PSHE ‘an important and necessary part of all pupils’ education’ and aims to improve the physical and psychosocial wellbeing of young people as well as support their success in the Sixth Form and beyond.

Sixth Form students have the opportunity to meet with the school’s PSHE lead to discuss topics that are important to them, in order to help shape the PSHE provision for Years 12 and 13.
