Exam Results Summer 2020

Results for the main summer exam series are issued to students in their pre-booked allocated time:

GCE and Btec Level 3 Results Day
Thursday 13th August 2020

GCSE, Btec Level 1/2 and Cambridge National Results Day
Thursday 20th August 2020

Arrangements on Results days

- Parents/carers are asked to wait off-site or in your cars if you have parked on-site.
- Students should arrive to the school at the time they have booked and ensure they adhere to the social distancing guidance notices on-site.
- Students should follow directions to the appropriate queue for the sports hall, where hand sanitiser will be available.
- Students will be asked to move into the sports hall to collect their own results individually.
- Students will then exit the sports hall via the indicated exit and leave the school site.

The accessibility of senior members of centre staff immediately after the publication of results
Students will be able to access support and members of the Sixth Form and Careers teams will be available.

The Exams Office will be available to contact either by email or by telephone on 01234 290235 or 01234 290284 at the following times:
- Thursday 13th August: 9.00am - 2.00pm
- Friday 14th August: 10.00am - 1.00pm
- Thursday 20th Augustt: 9.00am - 2.00pm
- Friday 21st August: 10.00am - 1.00pm

Please note: No results will be given out by telephone under any circumstances.


Summer 2021 - Notice of Exam Contingency Day
Ofqual are currently undergoing a consultation regarding the dates of examinations to be held in the Summer of 2021. An exam contingency day will be put in place in the event of national or local disruption to the exams system affecting a significant number of candidates, this is provisionally Tuesday 29th June 2021 and all students must remain available to sit exams up to and including this date. However, this date could change following the conclusion of the consultation when we will then publish the confirmed date which will apply.
